| Welcome to At Peace Pet Memorials. I don't know how to truly emphasize how important closure is. When my companion of 10 years "Mr. Sibbs" passed away, I was not there. I paid a disposal fee and never saw him again. I should have brought him home and buried him. Memorialized him with a Pet Grave Marker. I still to this day have nightmares that I left him somewhere and now I can't find him. I hate for others go through the same pain. I had no idea that there were other ways to memorialize him. Even after we lost Honey we still were not aware that there was more than just paying a disposal fee. She too should be home with us and have her own Pet Memorial Headstone. It wasn't until we lost Gerta that we then realized that there was more that we could do. We had Gerta cremated, but we had a hard time finding an Pet Urn. Plenty of Human urns but no Pet Urns. That's what got us to create our own Pet Memorial Site. As for pet disposal, we watched our local news and were horrified to see how inhumanely the pets were being disposed. It's too graphic to discuss here. Needless to say, we will never do that again and will try to help others from making the same mistake. |
| We had a black lab that was abandoned with us. Guess the owner knew she would have a good home. She became my shadow. She lived out the rest of her life with us and passed away due to old age. She was such a good companion and spent a lot of time laying near me in my office. We decided to have her cremated and put her in a beautiful Exotic Bubinga Wood "My Dog" Urn that I keep in my office. That's her to the right. |

![]() | Our most recent loss was our handsome boy, Beau. That's him at the top of this page. My wife decided she would prefer to keep Beau's mom, Heidi, and her litter together in the same urn. They are in an Oversized Exotic Urn in Birdeye Maple with a Longhair Dachshund Pet Figurine on top. You may notice that there is a plate missing on the urn to the left. Beau has joined Heidi and his brother, Rudy. His sister, Ginger, is still with us. When her time comes she will join the others. |
